Received Package from Velma!

I received a package from Velma today. I was too happy to find the contents! Thank you so much, Velma! Can't wait to use them this weekend! Prima has got to be one of my favorite brands. I have an entire shelf just dedicated to the flowers, which is overflowing by the way! Velma is such a sweet lady. I meet her at the Scrapbooking Expo in Santa Clara via Arlene and Bona.

Here's a vid of me opening up the package:

Gracias

I made this card for a friend who has done so much. I used Fly-Butterflies by FCD. I first stamped the images on pink cardstock. I ran the cardstock through the cuttlebug, then adhered the decorated butterlies. Easy Peasy!

Fly

I used the faux metal technique and Butterfly Fly stamp set by FCD. I colored the images with copics and gel inks. The sentiment is done with silver embossing powder. Thanks for looking!

Resist with Distress Inks

I created this card for Laura's Sketch 32 @ 2Sketches4You. I made my own design paper by doing a resist with distress inks: Tattered Rose, Aged Mahogany, and Worn Lipstick. I used Butterfly Fly stamp set from FCD. Then, I added glimmer mist: Cherub Pink.
Here's a video on how easy it is to make the DP:

FCD Gets Hot!

Welcome to FCD's monthly blog hop! I created my card with the monthly challenge: use heat for our projects. And heat I did! I used the following stamps: Paper Roses and German Script. The technique that I used was Crackle Glass from SCS. The rose image was colored with copics and the rest of the cardstock was distressed with Tea Dye, Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. Then, I used the Mojo Monday sketch 96 to complete the card.
This is a “circular blog hop” where the only beginning is wherever you start!! You will know you are at the end of your blog hop when you’ve come back to the blog you’ve started from! (It’s not a huge circle…so it should be easy to remember where you started.)

The winner will be chosen from a mystery blog hostess that we don’t even know who it will be until the hop is over…so that’s why you’ll want to leave a comment on EVERY blog, so you don’t miss out!
Now, to continue the circle, you will need to hop on over to the super talented Julie and keep going until you’ve come back to where you’ve started! Thanks so much for playing along with us and we hope you have a great time!

**To find out if you’ve won… you will be contacted by Pamela via e-mail (so be sure to leave it with your comment.) and you can also find out on Pamela’s blog after the blog hop ends on Wed, ……at 8:00 PM (EST).**

Holiday Stamps, Altered

Wondering what to do with your Holiday stamps? Here, I used Stinking of You by FCD. It's normally an Easter stamp set. However, I used stamps to create a all-year-round card. This first card I made for 2Sketches4You with Kazan's Sketch 31. I used two egg shapes and turned them into butterflies.

Here, I used the largest egg shape and formed them into a large bloom.

And here, I created a birthday card using the squirrel and sentiment. Hope these cards inspire you to make use of your holiday cards. Check back soon for another great Blog Hop with FCD this Saturday.
